The Signature Assignment for this course will be an application of concepts explored throughout the course.
To the best of your ability, briefly explain how an MFT would conceptualize Three Phases of Systemic Formulation in the context of a family you know well. Details can be fabricated if necessary.
Use initials to identify members. This is a clinical, objective, observational analysis of the family system, explained in a third-person narrative.
The genogram can be created in Word or drawn by hand and scanned in, but it must be included in the paper. Be sure to define and explore the following:

Must be double-spaced with 1-inch margins and typed in 12-point Times New Roman. Must use recent (within 6 years) sources.
Proofread for spelling and grammar.
You must cite all sources used, including page numbers to avoid plagiarism.
Case Assignment should be approximately 8-10 pages in length.
Hint: For your case assignment, make sure to include headings
using the outline of the terms given for the paper. The headings
should make it clear that you are discussing the terms.
2. Culture Shock Reflection
Paper details:
Think about a time when you were immersed in a new culture or co-culture.
Write a 250-500 word reflection, addressing the following:
Explain the circumstances surrounding your immersion in a new culture/co-culture. What was the reason for your trip/experience?
Identify the stages of culture shock present in your experience of the new culture/co-culture.
Explain how you tried to cope with the culture shock.
Discuss how you might cope with the culture shock in a healthier way in the future based upon what you learned about culture shock in this topic.
Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is not required.
