Read the selection from Hume’s Enquiry Concerning Human Understanding and write a 1-2 pg. response paper explaining whose argument you find more convincing: Descartes’ argument for Rationalism or Hume’s argument for Empiricism (typed, 12-pt. font, double-spaced). Who do you find more convincing and why? Is Descartes’ “wax example” a stronger argument for his Rationalist epistemology (theory of knowledge)?
