– It is a wise decision for Japan. Japan relies on not importing but also exporting. Japan imports about 60 percent of its food each year. This is because Japan is relatively a small country in comparison with its population. In 2015 Japan exported $670B, making it the 4th largest exporter in the world. The most recent exports are led by Cars which represent 14% of the total exports of Japan. Since Japan can exports cars to Mexico freely, Japanese car companies creates more benefit for each of the cars and can develop the economy.
