the entire paper. (30 points)
• Describe the music itself as best you can (rhythm, melody, harmony,
tone colors, etc) (20 points)
• You must include some kind of discussion of what you expected,
based on the research that you did, and how the concert either met or
did not meet your expectations. (10 points)
• Do you think the expert opinions were accurate?
• Did you find that the music seemed very different from what
the research implied?
• What specifically did or did not meet your expectations?
o NOTE: any reference to your research will require
citations and an entry in your bibliography!
o Your personal reaction to the entire event (5 points)
• Here is where you can indulge in your own opinions about the event
and the performance as a whole.
• Was it enjoyable? Was it interesting? How was the
performance? Were there problems that you noticed (it DOES
happen, even in the MOST professional of concerts)?
