MIDWIFERY SUBJECT
Section 1) contents and introduction- includes details of reflective framework and how you intend to signpost the reader through the portfolio
section 2) reflective account- utilising a refletive style, critically analyse and evaluate issues raised for you during continuity project experience. the critical analysis should include an examination of the current evidence base for practice as well as demonstrating your ability to question your own practice in order to optimise the care you give. (3000-3500 words). The reflective account should centre on aspects of your continuity project that have meant the most learning for you. for example how particular incidents were managed including a discussion f the implications for accountability and professional practice. This analysis should also include an exploration of key aspects of midwifery care such as the provision of continuity of care, facilitating informed choice and normalising birth. also an evaluation of the decision making processes used and identify possible alternatves for future practice.
section3) (no word limit) evidence- a care plan of assessmentys, planning and implementation and evaluation of care in conjunction with mentor midwife.

This continuity project to contain 2 mini reflections. The topics chosen are communication and third stage of labour. 2500 words have been completed but marked with a fail. this can be included with hand book instructions
