This is a research-based analysis that discusses the implications of a trend and or change in the luxury industry for luxury hospitality, the identification of an emerging business opportunity and the recommendation of an innovative concept as a relevant response to the industry or a particular sector of it.
Based on a trend or recent change within the luxury industry discussed in class (see list below), select one trend you feel is particularly relevant to the luxury hospitality industry.
1. Assess how this trend or change is positively or negatively affecting the luxury hospitality industry from a multi-disciplinary perspective.
2. Identify an emerging opportunity it creates for luxury hospitality or a sector of it (e.g., airlines, hotels, restaurants, travel and tourism, private yachts, cruising etc.); and propose a response to the industry that includes defining an innovative concept as part of a recommendation to the industry.
