Research indicates that self-talk (i.e. the conversation in your mind) has a profound impact on the way we feel and act. What are the negative things you say to yourself? What are ways in which you judge and/or blame others? Give specific examples of this and discuss how these negative ways of thinking impact the choices you make.
Now think about how can you improve the quality of your self-talk? What positive and supportive language could you say to yourself to help you move toward the positive outcomes and experiences you want in your life? What would help you to make those changes?
