Assignment Overview
The Undergraduate Public Administration Program that you are part of is accredited by the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA). Each course in this program is designed to meet one or more of NASPAA’s core competencies:
Lead and manage in a dynamic, mission driven nonprofit sector;
Analyze, synthesize, think critically, solve problems and make decisions for the purpose of strengthening nonprofit organizations, the nonprofit sector, and society at large;
Communicate and interact productively with a diverse and changing workforce and citizenry;
Articulate and apply a public service perspective emphasizing the role of civil society in democratic governance; and
Participate in and contribute to the policy process while functioning in the nonprofit sector.
While parts of this course are designed to touch on all of these competencies, the following are the two major competencies that are focused on in this course:
The ability to analyze, synthesize, think critically, solve problems, and make decisions for the purpose of strengthening the public and nonprofit sector and society at large;
The ability to communicate and interact productively with a diverse and changing workforce and citizenry.
For this final writing assignment, you are going to reflect on each of the documents you have created in this course and identify how each one has been met by your completing that assignment.

You will submit a 5 page reflection paper that answers the following question for each of these writing documents that you created:
How has this assignment help me to:
analyze, synthesize, think critically, solve problems, and make decisions for the purpose of strengthening the public and nonprofit sector and society at large; and
to communicate and interact productively with a diverse and changing workforce and citizenry
While your reflection can include a section on how the writing course overall help you in these areas, I want to know how each document, separately, helped you develop in these two areas. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions on this assignment.
Your paper should follow APA formatting guidelines. It should include a cover page, page headers, and section headers, and if you do cite any outside materials in your paper (you are not required to), they must be properly cited both within your text and in a reference list at the end of the paper. You do not need an abstract or table of contents for this paper.
