Gerontology
Be sure that your map is detailed, with broad concepts (e.g., gerontology) located near the top of the map and specific, smaller details (e.g., home-maker services) located towards the bottom. Make sure that the connections or linking words are action-based or connection words (e.g., informs, consists of, funds, provides, includes), while the concepts are nouns or things (e.g., OAA, sociology, LTSS).
Aim to build a comprehensive map that demonstrates your professional knowledge of the field. You can add in additional ideas to help support your comprehensive understanding of the field. Also, be sure to look for connections that bring the two main higher-ordered concepts (gerontology, OAA) together in the map. And, because the question contains the word “network” you may want to include this somewhere on your map as well. A strong map will achieve the above, contain factual propositions, that are well-organized (high-to-low) and complete.
