DESIGN STREAM – Digital Imaging (45%)
You are required to combine your new skills to create 5 complex digital images exploring any given theme of your choice. For each of the 5 compositions, you will combine a number of images of your choice (<link is hidden> drawings, photographs, illustrations, textures etc) to produce an engaging mixed-media visual representation of your theme. You are required to use both Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop to create your Digital Images. Combine your images with a brief explanation (100-150 words) for each work to explain how they fit within the theme and how you created them. Produce a clean and well-designed document in InDesign and export as a PDF to showcase the project. Your document should have a consistent layout and typographic structure, utilising grids, character styles, paragraph styles, and master pages to achieve this.
Submission requirements
7 page A4 PDF showcasing the 5 images with short explanation (including a title page and reference page)

Include a reference page at the end of your PDF with links to all original images you have used
Name your PDF file with your student number, full name, and “Digital” followed by the “.pdf” extension – eg: “u123456_MikaelaDanvers_<link is hidden> /> Include your layered PSD and AI files in your submission as one zip file

COMMUNICATION STREAM – Data Infographic (45%)
You are required to combine your new skills to create one A2 infographic in InDesign exploring 5 aspects of a data set which will be provided. For each of the 5 aspects, you will use graphs created from the given data in Illustrator. You may combine these graphs with other images or hand drawn illustrations to produce an engaging mixed-media visual representation of your data if you wish, though this is not a requirement. Combine your data representations with a brief explanation (100-150 words) for each to explain how they represent the data and how you created them. Produce a clean and well-designed document in InDesign and export as a PDF to showcase the project. Your one page infographic should have a consistent layout and typographic structure, utilising grids, character styles, paragraph styles, and master pages to achieve this.
