Holiness is central to the reality of the New Testament teaching. The language used to cast the vision for holiness is diverse and varied, but the reality that the life of Jesus can invade our hearts and lives, changing and transforming us to be like Him, is central to the New Testament. Oden makes it clear that holiness is a classical theological truth that spans both historical periods and denominational divisions. In this module, you will work to be able to accurately explain the call to walk in holiness.
• Read pp. 659-688 of Oden.
• In your initial post, summarize what you think is the most important information for describing the biblical mandate to walk in holiness..
