write an essay where you take a concept from Buddhist thought and try to draw a connection to some concept of Chinese thought (you now should have a couple of lists from which to choose). Alternatively, since the course shifts in the end towards questions of contemporary concern, which I center around the concept of Nihilism, you can choose to write an essay on the general theme of Buddhism and Nihilism, choosing one or more thinkers from the Japanese tradition on which to focuswrite six questions about Buddhist and Chinese concepts.
