Case Study 1 – Cloud Syzgy
Cloud Syzygy is a technology services company moving to a cloud based deployment model. The CIO (your team) has been asked to prioritize the migration of their product line. This is an IT and a Business Opportunity based decision.

- A team-created 6-8 page (double spaced) written analysis that addresses the standard case study guidelines, and answers all questions.

- As a team, collaborate to follow the case study process and answer the questions below, in relation to the case study and any additional research that you complete.
- Compile your answers and recommendations into a professional, succinct analysis.
- Nominate one member of your team to submit your team’s case study analysis in Moodle.

- What are the potential benefits for organizations adopting cloud based computing?
- What are the potential risks for organizations adopting cloud based computing?
- What are the key factors an organization needs to consider prior to adopting cloud computing?
- What are the technical and business management skills required for the successful adoption of cloud computing technologies?
- Do you agree with the product line prioritization? Why? Why not?
It is required to answer questions 1-4 from 2 perspectives:
- A potential end user customer
- A solutions provider
