The first formative assessment has been designed to provide you with an opportunity to receive feedback on your academic writing at an early stage in the module. The feedback will help you identify any learning needs in relation to academic writing and assist the module leader to construct academic supervision and additional support for the group as a whole. Your formative feedback provides you with an indication of your performance but will not be considered by the Assessment Board as part of the overall mark awarded for the module.
