Things to include and consider:
l) Keep’in mind, the existing “building to building” width on 4’“ Avenue is 80 feet, We don’t want to take down
any historic bUildings.
2) You’ll need at least 3 cross section alternatives l’or the client to consider using.
3) You ll need to create an “cXisting conditions“ cross section. (Note: the exact lane measurements can simply be
approxmiated usmg Google Earth. and Google Street view)
4) You Will create the cross sections using an onlinc platform called Streetmix https:f‘e’streetigpcnet
5) The labels and images in Streetmix are a starting point – feel free to expand on them using powerpoint or other
software to customize it further, but be sure to label and dimension it so it is clear to the client what your
deSign is.
6) Create a table and include the following data for each cross section design (and the existing condition cross
section): % and Number of feet ofspace increaseldecrease for Pedestrians. Bieyclist, Motor Vehicles, and
Green Space.
