Film: “Little Buddha”
This is for religious studies class. View the film, “Little Buddha” starring Keanu Reeves, or some such exploration of Buddhism in Cinematic portrayal, and then comment on what you observe. Make sure you do the reading and “MyReligionKit” to help you understand the very eastern paradigm it portrays. You may want to substitute or supplement this film with “Kundun” by Martin Scorsese on the early life of the Dalai Lama, or some other film that deals with the development or manifestation of Buddhism. As usual, post your thoughts.

Financial planners recommend that American’s invest in the stock market (primarily through mutual funds and index funds) as part of a balanced investment portfolio that can grow over time and support a multi-decade period of retirement. Unfortunately, almost half of Americans do not own any stock. Read the article linked below to learn more about the investment gap that exists between wealthy Americans and everyone else.
