6. Submission of sources
• You should be using 3 sources to support the claim you have made in the body paragraph in your essay plan.
• Sources will be of varying sizes and formats. Please copy the source you have used as evidence into a Word or PDF document.
• In the Word or PDF document, highlightonly the points you have paraphrased and/or summarised in your paragraph.
• The title of the article/report etc. must be typed at the top of the document. Also, type the author’s name/organisation’s name and the date (if given).
• If the source is more than 5 pages long eg. a report, a book etc. at the top of the document, you should indicate the SECTION, CHAPTER NAME & PAGE NUMBER where you have highlighted evidence. Do not simply copy and paste the paragraph on its own as it needs to be seen in context.
• Attach the three sources as Word or PDF docs. to the Journal where you submitted your title.
• This should be done before the 1pm deadline next Wednesday 1st April. Essay plans with points that do not correspond to the highlighted sentences in the sources will lose a significant amount of marks.
• You do not have to submit sources yet for the other claims you have made in section 2 of the plan. However, in section 5, you must type in the Vancouver reference for at least 1 source that you intend to use to support each of these claims. You will submit these and additional sources with the final essay.
