The collective ideas of a workgroup can be an effective approach which can create synergy, yet at the same time pose a management challenge for organizations and its leaders. There are factors to consider when forming a workgroup such as the experience and skills of the members and the group’s leader, the location of group members, and the group’s individual and collective goals and objectives
. Discuss (broadly) how they can be beneficial and yet cause issues for organizations and leaders.
There will be five challenges in this paper (see required subheadings noted below):
• Identify five challenges that cause workgroups to fail (You select five causes of failure from your research).
• Provide a recommendation to address each challenge (five recommendations total), and the role of the group’s leader in implementing each recommendation.
• Conclusion: Provide a conclusion that highlights the importance of workgroups and how a leader can assist the navigation of successful projects.
