Objective: Summarize the unique characteristics and contributions of the Medieval period especially as it relates to the church of the era

Also referred to as the Dark Ages, the Medieval period represents key events in history and the life of the church. The European world is moving away from one powerful empire known as Rome to a more tribal existence. In some ways, we see cultural decline, however, we also can see glimmers of cultural development.
Using the video on the Medieval Overview as a base, create a visually pleasing minimum 10 slide PowerPoint presentation on the Medieval period. What are the unique characteristics and contributions of this time period? What was happening in the life of the church during this time?

Read relevant portions in your Noll and Olsen textbooks.
Create a PowerPoint ministry resource (10 slides minimum) that you could use in a ministry teaching context to bring a Sunday School class or Bible study into greater understanding of this time period.
o Make sure to include facets of how the church is developing during this era including key theologians, power structures, movements, etc.
It is not necessary to apply a formatting style for this assignment except when using a source to support your writing.
