Read the Red Lobster Case Study and thoroughly address the four questions at the end of the case. Remember the importance of citing your sources (including yourself) and the consequences for submitting work that is not your own creation.
“Written Case Studies and Ethics Exercises
The student will write a thorough essay (700 to 1000 words for Case Studies; excluding cover page and references) that answer all questions applying to the case and provided by the author. Do not submit as either a numbered Q & A or as a bulleted list of data submission but rather as a completed written paper. Because this is an upper division course, students are responsible for their own time management and as such, should ensure they complete the papers earlier, rather than waiting until the night the assignment is due. Avoid the overwhelmed feeling a student can encounter when they wait until the last minute to start a written paper with significant point allocation.
The student should relate the case (exercise) to the chapter materials and issues. All students should do Internet and/or library database research required prior to writing his or her response (multiple sources adds credibility). Note that the instructor does not recognize Wikipedia as a suitable reference source for academic submissions due to the editable nature of the material found there that raises concerns about veracity and validity of content. Do not cite Wikipedia or other non-academic sources such as dictionaries and blogs in your references for the Case Study assignments (or any other pedia :-)). Ensure that proper grammar, sentence structure, and material citations are included for maximum point consideration. Neglecting to cite other authors original material is plagiarism and will be graded accordingly (see the Academic Honesty section in the syllabus on page 9). Include properly formatted cover and reference pages with your Case Studies. A minimum of three reference sources in addition to your textbook are required for Case Studies, two minimum plus textbook for Ethics Exercises.
Submit as an attachment in proper APA format as a Microsoft® Word document only with proper grammar, spelling, citations, cover and reference pages.
