Uncle Frank is the family expert (the subject doesn’t matter, he is an expert on everything). Following a meal with the family he sits back and begins to lecture on history. The thesis of this sermon is that aside from some technological advances, America and its society have remained virtually unchanged since 1877. After suffering through many hours of lecture in History 202, you know Uncle Silas is wrong. Using specific examples from the entire period covered during this course (1877-1975 or so) disprove his argument.
